Here’s something I made!

imageHello lovelies!  How ARE you today? I hope all is well and happy with you.

I have just finished this cot blanket for donating. I hope the recipient likes it and that it keeps a little body nice and toasty.  I’m quite happy with it.  I like the colour combo and the fancy schmancy border.  I’ve never done a border before  – feel quite the clever clogs!- and I think I’m now hooked! No pun intended, I swear!

I used the solid granny square pattern by Lucy from Attic 24 but just added an extra round and Bec from handmade and home inspired the border pattern. I just pared it back a little.

Do you have any crafty projects on the go?  Are you happy with how they are progressing?

  1. I have three crochet blankets on the go, each for a couple of years, haha. I’m an easily distracted crafter!

You are a clever clogs indeed, this is lovely! It’s very neat and polished, and how great that you’re donating it 🙂
(I also appreciated the crochet pun, intended or not!)

  2. So beautiful Carolyn – both the blanket itself, and the fact you’re donating it to a little one who needs it. Go you! I have two craft projects on the go, one is a massive striped crochet blanket that I made too wide and is taking FOREVER to finish, and the other a pink scarf with pom poms for my soon-to-be-three-year-old niece, inspired by Catherine from Saint Cardigan’s chunky crochet scarf, only knitted instead of crocheted. Might do some crafting today, you’ve inspired me with your excellent crafting dedication! x
